It helps to give prescriptions on-line based on these findings . The Pathological reports may be generated at any time you want. You can select & re-use the standard prescriptions that you have already given for a similar case(disease). You can also see the treatments given by you previously while you examine/give prescription. The alternate combination of medicines may be viewed before prescribing the disease. And you can also coin new combination with new/existing medicines on-line. Contents of these medicines can be seen by pressing a key.
It prints prescriptions calculating the exact amount of medicines for a specified course based upon the dosage depending on the weight /or age of the patient and stores the information for future use.This saves you lot of your precious time. In a typical case hardly 4-5 key strokes are needed to give a prescription containing 6 to 8 medicines. Thus it is a boon to doctors with large number of OPD cases especially for the pediatricians, who can now spend more time with their patients.
These days people are becoming aware of the side-effects of modern medicines. Efforts are also on to bring the medical profession under consumer protection act. A slight negligence on the part of Doctor may lead to dire consequences. HDMS now comes to your rescue. The system may be setup as intelligent as you wish it to be. It warns you against the bad combination of Drugs for a disease and may give suggestions for an alternative medicine. It also enables you to view the contents of the medicine before you prescribe it.
