These days Automation has become the buzz word in office administration in order
to bring the awareness, accountability and efficiency in office administration.
It has become the only amicable solution to meet the growing demand.
The need of the hour is not just maintaining the office accounts it is more than
that. Since the last 18 years there are no appointments in Colleges and every
year some of the office employees are retiring and these posts also continue to
remain vacant. Thus the existing staff alone has to look after the daily
routines. The situation is not different on teaching side also. Apart from this,
the introduction of NAAC has aggravated the situation. We expect quality in both
teaching as well as office managements.
Under the circumstances it is the automation that comes to our help. It brings
in neatness and accuracy and increases the quality in office work. We at Kabson
Software have taken up the task of providing software solutions to meet the
needs of our clerical staff who are working under immense work pressure. Our
long standing experience in developing systems for Libraries and Financial
Institutions has encouraged us to take up this work. We appreciate your help and

in our present endeavor also.
The High Lights :
The system E-Office is designed to meet
the needs the existing staff who knows little or nothing about the computers.
Further they are unaware of what they can do with computers. So our task is to
develop a systems that makes them feel at home with computers and there by
create interest in using these machines to carry out their daily chores such as
admitting a new student and creating cash receipt for the amount received or
creating the monthly attendance sheets of particular subject of a particular
class or prepare a list of staff members who have not cleared their advances
etc. without much hassles.
A constant effort is made to
reduce the possibility of committing mistakes by wrong entries. We always insist
on selecting a value rather than entering it through keyboard. Appropriate
warnings are generated before the user decides to do a critical action which
makes major changes to the data system. Thus our systems are designed to be user
friendly in the real sense.
Initial steps that must be carried out
before the user starts using the system is given in a Help file. And answers to
many of his common queries are enlisted so that he need not phone the developers
for his minor problems. Further if you have any thing to suggest regarding the
